Q. So what exactly do you do?

A. Well, a lot of things I guess. I play music, do graphic design, work with video, tinker with code and generally like to occupy myself with learning as much as I can and sharing it with others. I don't have a job right now so I've been spending my time figuring out how to eat, pay rent, normalize the geoplitical power structure. You know, regular stuff.

Q. Why don't you just get a job?

A. I'd like a job. Do you have one for me? If so, contact me. Oh, you mean why don't I just do something to "pay the bills?" I'm completely willing to do regular manual labor. I've mowed lawns, done dishes, served and cooked food, sold stuff door-to-door. A bunch of other stuff too. But it's a real pain to find work when you don't have regular access to a car. At least in Atlanta. Sure, there's a bunch of places within walking distance of my house. I've worked at some of them in the past (Park Tavern, Mellow Mushroom, The Highlander.) Recently, I've applied to others but sometimes it's a drawn-out process to get from application to paycheck.

In the meantime, I figured my time would be best spent focusing on doing what I love. Namely, web design and other creative multimedia work that involves flexing my brain. So I've been scanning photos in, assembling music, looking for old internet work, and writing much more than I expected. Now that I've got a decent cross-section of my work uploaded, I'm going to seek out freelance work.

Basically, I'm trying to sell myself without going down to the corner to hang out with the usual motley crew (I live near Boulevard and Ponce, in case you're wondering.) I think I'm a smart person with many various talents and a number of other people do to. I have a ton of cool ideas for the future of this website which I'll continue to add. Hopefully, enough people will invest in my future with a lifetime subscription and I won't get evicted. Then I can focus on selling studio time and other assorted projects.

If that doesn't work out, I guess I'll get a job at McDonald's. Seriously. It's right down the street and they had a sign up looking for slaves. I mean, team members. That will probably get old quick and I'll quit to live a life of vagrancy. I'll eventually wonder my way to Central America and live on a banana plantation.

Q. Are you crazy?

A. Yes.

Q. Are you really an anarchist?

A. Pretty much. Not the Mad Max, neo-caveman variety though. To me anarchy doesn't imply life without rules. It is simply a philosophy that seeks individual liberty and lack of hierchial control. This is how the world really is, no matter what The State tells you. Unfortunately, to have a proper functioning society based on anarchistic principles requires education. This wouldn't be much of a problem if we weren't focusing hundreds of billions of dollars on a program that has about as much chance for success as killing your shadow on a sunny day. Some people might classify some of my viewpoints as Socialist. That's fine with me. Most socialist ideas are fundamentally anarchist. I don't really approve of the fascistic State Socialism popularized by Stalin though. I'm more about the socialist ideas held by Albert Einstein, George Orwell, Hellen Keller and the like. If you have any questions or would like your current worldview shattered, drop me a line.

Q. Couldn't you kill your shadow on a sunny day by standing in the shade?

A. No. It's simply in hiding ; ) Besides, it was just a catchy phase to call attention to the fact that the enormous sums of money we devote to killing foreign people is ultimately doomed to failure. Or it will be used against us. Either way, no bueno.

Um, that's pretty much all the questions for myself I can think of right now. If you have any others, bring it on.
