I've always loved film. To me, it represents the ultimate culmination of art. The best films not only must have good writing, but must blend visual elements of mise en scene with the tasteful application of sound. Because of their complexity, films are also the hardest work to properly execute. Its difficult enough to schedule a a regular jam with a few friends; organizing a film is absolute madness! It requires either large sums of money or a dogged determination of spirit. Usually both.

I've been fortunate enough to help a number of students and friends with their personal projects. Most of my effort has been directed towards helping others working with software like Final Cut Pro, iMovie and DVD Studio Pro. I have taught classes on this software to many Georgia State University students and given private lessons to others outside of school. When somebody needs to know how to achieve a particular effect, I am happy to show the solution if I know it or to find out the answer if I don't.

Most of my interest in video is related to music. I enjoy filming concerts for friends as well as composing soundtracks. If you think you may have some work for me, let's talk.
